Biographical / Historical
The American Lutheran Statistical Association was organized in 1917. The aim of the group was to “bring men together for the discussion of statistical problems, particularly those of the Lutheran Church, and, in other ways, to promote the gathering of statistical material and the proper presentation and diffusion of same.” (Pamphlet, Box 1, folder 1)
