The Lutheran bodies represented were the Lutheran Church in America (LCA), The American Lutheran Church (TALC), and Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LC-MS), and Synod of Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Lutheran Council in the United States of America was formed through this committee. At the end of the seventh meeting they decided that no further meetings need to be scheduled in advance (Jan/Feb 1966).
