This collection contains the manuscripts of Rev. Paul Henkel. It includes a German Bible that is believed to have been used by Henkel while serving near Broad Run/New Haven, West Virginia; transcription copies of Rev. Anthony Jacob Henkle’s activity in Germany; diary and journal entries detailing travel; daybooks; poems, prayers, and hymns; and Henkel’s handwritten autobiography. The majority of the materials are in German, some translated, and few in English.

The records are arranged in the order 2 boxes, a total of 22 folders. The Bible is not in a folder.
