Biographical / Historical
Rev. Dr. Walter Kloetzli was born in New York City on November 18, 1921. He attended Johns Hopkins University (1938-1940), the US Naval Academy (1940-1941), recieved his A.B. from Gettysburg College in 1947, B.D. from Gettysburg Seminary 1950, and Litt. D. from Carthage College in 1961. He was ordained by the N.Y. Synod in 1950 and served as pastor of Christ Christ Lutheran in Paramus, NJ. He was secretaery of Urban Church Planning NLC, and published many writings about Urban Planning and the Church.
