Biographical / Historical

Rev. Edward Kendig Stipe was born on December 23, 1918 in York PA. He recieved his A.B. from Gettysburg College in 1943, B.D. from Gettysburg Seminary in 1946, and M.A. from Columbia University in 1959. he was ordained by the Central Pennsylvania Synod in 1946 and transferred to the Ohio Synod in 1960. He served as pastor at St. Paul, McSherrystown, PA (1945-1948), Zion, Greencastle, PA (1952-1953), Hallam-Canadochly, PA (1955-1956), St. Matthew, Mansfield, Ohio, (1960-1964), and Grace Lutheran, Dover OH (1964-1967). He died in 1967.
