Pastor C. Wayne Peterman was born in Homer City, PA on February 1, 1921. He is a graduate from Gettysburg College, Gettysburg Seminary, and was ordained in 1946. His parish ministry took him to various congregations in Pennsylvania and he retired in 1987. After retirement, he served as interim Pastor in various congregations throughout Adams, Hanover, and York Counties. He volunteered his services to Gettysburg Seminary as an Associate in Development where he worked primarily in the Friends program until his death in 1990. In addition, Pastor Peterman formerly served on the board of directors of Gettysburg Seminary and for many years on the board of the development committee.
