Biographical / Historical
The Rev. Charles Berend Foelsch was a Lutheran minister in Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Illinois, and New York. He was also President of Chicago Lutheran Seminary and President of Pacific Lutheran Seminary. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg College in 1909; graduated from Chicago Lutheran Seminary in 1915, and received a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh in 1924.
