Dr. Edward Sites served as chair of the Board of Directors at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg from 1977-2000. He maintained an archive of publications, letters, and audiovisual materials put out by the Denominational Ministry Strategy/Confessing Synod Ministries in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania from 1982 to 2016. Dr. Sites donated these materials to the Seminary Archives through the Reverend John Spangler. Dr. Sites’s intent in donating these materials is described in the letters to Rev. Spangler in the Collection Information found in folder 1-1.
