Scope and Contents
This collection documents the activities of Dr. Mildred E. Winston during her time as associate secretary of the ULCA Board of Education; director of the LCA Lay Workers Placement Service; on the Board of Deaconess Work; and as consultant to the Division of Welfare of the National Lutheran Council on the resettlement of displaced persons.
Included are work files, studies, questionnaires, reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, notes, and photographs.
The collection is organized into 3 boxes. Box 1: Records Pertaining to Women in the ULCA, Deaconess Board, Displaced Persons; Box 2: Photographs, and Box 3: Oversized Photographs.
